Description
The City of Temple is hiring a Utility Technician to install, repair, and maintain water and wastewater infrastructure under the supervision of a Crew Leader. The role includes repairing and installing pipes, mains, services, laterals, valves, manholes, meters, hydrants, and other components; excavating; operating air hammers, probes, rods, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment; locating infrastructure; installing traffic control; and maintaining tools and equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and TCEQ Licenses D Water and Collection I are required upon hire or advancement.
