The role includes benefit verification, authorization creation and management, claims inquiries, case documentation, authorization review and triage, department coordination, and reporting on continuity-of-care and peer-to-peer review activities. Candidates need prior authorization experience, strong analytical and communication skills, electronic efficiency, reliability, a high school diploma, and three years of experience in health care claims, service areas, or office support; managed-care experience and CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge are preferred.
