Description
The Utilization Manager will support the development, planning, coordination, and administration of utilization management activities, including reviewing medical records for admission appropriateness, medical necessity, continued stay, resource use, and discharge readiness. The role requires a nursing school graduate, current Louisiana R.N. licensure, strong communication and organizational skills, confidentiality, and knowledge of the utilization management review process; five years of hospital nursing experience and utilization management experience are preferred. The position is based in Covington, Louisiana, with scheduled weekly hours to be determined.
