Description
HGL is hiring a UXO Technician 2 for a remote role with 100% travel to project sites and long-term on-site work. The position stores explosive materials, uses GPS and land navigation to locate contaminated soils, prepares holding areas, supervises UXOSP personnel, and conducts surface and subsurface clearances and UXO avoidance or escort. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, military EOD school graduation or formal EOD training, prior military EOD experience or three years of munitions response or range clearance experience, and specific explosives safety training. The role requires physical work in rugged, adverse environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and extended field hours.
