Description
Shield AI is hiring a full-time V-BAT Field Operations Lead to support site surveys, installations, calibrations, aircraft operational checks, flight operations, customer handoffs, and deployment events. The role leads autonomous field operations, troubleshoots aircraft, payloads, ground systems, datalinks, networks, RF communications, and SATCOM, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and trains and mentors operators. Required qualifications include instructor experience, FAA PPL and Part 107 certificates, Class II medical and Secret DoD clearance eligibility, willingness to travel 50–75 percent, and the ability to work in austere environments. Preferred qualifications include instrument or commercial ratings, aircrew experience, maritime UAS experience, and prior military or aviation-operations leadership experience.
