Under the direct supervision of the Fleet Trucking Manager, the Vactor Operator performs essential tasks for operating a vactor truck and similar equipment. Key responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, potholing for utility exposure, cleaning storm lines, dumping storage tank contents, identifying repair needs, responding to emergencies, developing maintenance schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and documenting work done on various water-collecting structures. The role also involves working in varied environmental conditions, performing physical tasks like lifting up to 100 pounds, and potentially entering confined spaces.
