Description

GILLIG, a leader in environmentally friendly mobility solutions, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team in Livermore, CA. This hands-on, on-site role involves conducting system and vehicle-level design verification and production validation tests to ensure compliance with technical requirements and program timelines. The engineer will create and execute test plans, troubleshoot failures, and contribute to process improvements, collaborating with engineering teams and external partners.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2 years of experience within the Engineering industry
experience in automotive and/or heavy-duty vehicle testing/validation
experience working with internal and external customers, engineering service suppliers, and supervising third-party test facilities
experience with "hands-on" troubleshooting, product assembly, prototyping, testing, and validation activities (on site and at remote locations)
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in applying industry-standard practices and demonstrating professional expertise to resolve issues.
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
Effective communicator who collaborates across departments and provides actionable insights.
Capable of handling moderately complex problems requiring independent judgment and analytical thinking.
High attention to detail, producing comprehensive and accurate documentation.
