Description
The Mariner Valuation Analyst performs financial statement modeling, discounted cash flow, LBO, precedent transaction, comparable public company, and related analyses for private-company valuations supporting M&A, shareholder buyouts, tax, and estate-planning matters. The role also conducts industry and market research, assists with client due diligence and meetings, prepares valuation reports and presentations, supports business development, and provides project support. It is a full-time senior analyst position based in Cape Town, South Africa, requiring a degree in accounting or finance, at least two years of relevant experience, strong analytical and technical abilities, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
