CenterWell in The Villages, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is hiring a Senior Professional Primary Care Physician for its Pinellas Center in The Villages, Florida. The role is onsite and in-person, reporting to the Associate Medical Director, and focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, disease prevention, medical records, specialist referrals, and moderately complex clinical decision-making. The physician will see 12–14 patients per day, work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and participate in a Tuberculosis screening program. Required qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree, board certification or eligibility in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, an unrestricted state license, and a current unrestricted DEA license. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of experience, Medicare Advantage panel management experience, Medicare guideline knowledge, and HEDIS quality indicator knowledge. The starting base pay range is $255,000 to $298,500 per year, with a bonus incentive plan.
