Cockroach Labs is hiring a Value Engineer to advise customers on the financial impact of adopting CockroachDB. The role builds and delivers custom ROI and total cost of ownership models, leads executive presentations, conducts customer discovery, supports sales and evaluation activities, and develops the Value Engineering practice and product feedback loop. It requires 5+ years of experience in value engineering, financial consulting, technology consulting, or a related field, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to translate technical database concepts into financial narratives. The position follows a hybrid work model and offers a U.S. annual base salary of $145,000–$190,000 plus commission and benefits.
