Description
The Valve Repair Technician will repair, assemble, calibrate, and diagnose valves, actuators, and related instruments at R.E. Mason’s Columbia location and authorized repair facilities and customer sites. The role involves disassembly, inspection, machining, testing, documentation, customer troubleshooting, and adherence to safety, quality, and National Board VR/UV guidelines. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to work off hours, weekends, and overtime; industrial or plant experience and 3+ years of valve-related or nuclear/regulated industry experience are preferred.
