Description
SGS is hiring a permanent Valve Technician in Immingham to inspect, repair, maintain, test, and certify valves, actuators, and associated pressure systems. The role works from the Immingham workshop and at customer sites across the UK, with an 80% site-based schedule, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 40 hours per week. Candidates should have experience with valves, pipework, pressure systems, pumps, rotating equipment, or related mechanical maintenance, along with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; a recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant practical engineering experience is preferred, as is a valid UK driving licence.
