Description
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will support oil and gas maintenance, pre-turnaround, and related activities in upstream offshore and onshore or refinery environments. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings and bills of materials, selecting materials for corrosive sour services, supporting RFQs and vendor evaluations, preparing valve datasheets and isometric layouts, performing mechanical and piping calculations, reviewing vendor and construction documents, and providing technical clarifications to the construction team. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least 8 years of oil and gas experience, strong piping and valve knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD and related plant software.
