Description
The Van Driver Aide provides safe and timely transportation of individuals with disabilities to and from program sites and approved locations using an agency vehicle, while also supervising, assisting, and supporting them at program centers, contract sites, and community locations. The role requires a valid Virginia driver's license and acceptable driving record, knowledge of disability-related topics and transportation safety, and completion of required First Aid and CPR training. It is a split-shift position with a 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. morning period, a lunch break, and a 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. afternoon period.
