Description
The Vane Post Machinist will set up and operate CNC equipment to machine and repair precision aircraft engine components in an FAA-regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and GD&T, setting tooling and fixtures, inspecting parts with precision measuring tools, adjusting machine feeds and speeds, completing inspection and production documentation, performing machine maintenance, operating overhead cranes, maintaining a safe work area, and supporting Lean manufacturing. The role requires CNC machining experience, blueprint and GD&T knowledge, precision inspection skills, mechanical aptitude, and strong safety and communication skills. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday with a 10:30 PM–7:00 AM shift, including possible weekend work, and includes a $2–$4/hour shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
