Variational is hiring a fullstack frontend engineer to build and own trading interfaces and product experiences across its peer-to-peer derivatives applications. The role emphasizes TypeScript and Svelte, with backend API development in Rust, Go, or Python, performance optimization, frontend and fullstack security, CI/CD, containerized deployments, and end-to-end test automation. Candidates need at least five years of fullstack development experience, strong TypeScript and SQL skills, and preferably backend or fullstack experience, trading-platform experience, crypto-wallet integration, Rust, SvelteKit, PostgreSQL, Redis, and a UX mindset.
