Description
The Vascular Technologist 2 performs non-invasive vascular studies using ultrasound and pressure-cuff technology, including peripheral arterial disease, carotid and vertebral, vasculogenic impotence, and venous disease testing. The role admits, observes, and discharges patients; verifies physician orders; explains procedures; obtains preliminary results; notifies physicians of abnormal findings; and implements STAT and routine orders. It requires an RVT credential, one year of experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
