Shield AI is hiring a VBAT Simulation Lead to improve and scale simulation capabilities for the V-BAT and future aircraft. The role designs and manages simulation roadmaps, aligns priorities across engineering teams, hires and manages specialized simulation engineers, collaborates with software, autonomy, and aerodynamics engineers, and establishes reliable simulation workflows and documentation. The position requires a BS in Computer Science or a related engineering field, at least 8 years of professional experience, and 3+ years leading engineering teams or projects, along with strong C++ and software architecture skills.
