Description
The VCM Operator monitors vinyl chloride manufacturing processes, adjusts process variables, operates rotating equipment and manual valves, analyzes samples, uses personnel computers and the distributed control system, communicates plant status, troubleshoots abnormalities, recommends process improvements, and performs minor maintenance. The role requires an associate degree in process technology, five years of operations experience, two years of vinyl chloride operations experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
