Description
The VDC Engineer will support technological intelligence to provide a successful product throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. They will support the Preconstruction & Operations Teams with design assist projects and from pre-construction through project turnover. This position collaborates with diverse teams to evaluate scenarios for optimal decisions and processes. Responsibilities include developing deliverables such as visual mock-ups, logistics plans, phasing plans, 4D schedules, trade coordination and clash detection, and construction aides; solving problems using digital production software; and providing technical support for applications like BIM 360, Revit, and Navisworks Manage. The role also involves managing model changes, assisting with quantity take-off, documenting job progress, and supporting the implementation of corporate VDC strategy.
