Description
The Senior Gasoline Engine Calibration Engineer will lead the development and standardization of model-based and physics-based calibration methodologies for gasoline engines, covering torque, spark, knock, combustion, airflow, fuel, boost, VVT, EGR, emissions, off-nominal, and transient calibration. The role guides virtual engine and powertrain model development, establishes validation and release-readiness criteria, analyzes engine and vehicle data, and mentors calibration engineers while collaborating with controls, software, simulation, and validation teams. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and 3–5 years of experience in gasoline vehicle calibration, powertrain controls, engine system development, or calibration methodology development, along with hands-on dynamometer and virtual-development experience.
