MCCS Okinawa is hiring a Recreation Assistant, also titled Vehicle Operator Instructor (Flex), to independently instruct and certify students in driver's education. The role includes theoretical and practical instruction, road-practical driving, vehicle safety inspections, student performance evaluation, and customer service. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, have three years of driving experience, be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, and hold a Government-Owned Vehicle operator's permit. The position requires knowledge of vehicle controls, route selection, Japanese traffic laws, and vehicle dynamics, and is subject to a Tier 1 investigation and drug-free workplace requirements.
