Specter Aerospace is hiring a full-time Vehicle Structures Analyst II to analyze high-speed airbreathing vehicles and lead structural analysis projects. The role involves hand calculations, finite-element modeling, stress, fatigue, fracture, and thermal-structural analyses; preparing structural reports; developing Python and MATLAB tools; and supporting material and structural testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 2–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with aerospace analysis tools, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
