Description
Astranis is hiring a Team Lead, Vehicle Test Team to build and manage the team responsible for spacecraft test software, test frameworks, and HITL testbeds. The role covers vehicle testing from panel integration through full spacecraft checkouts, including propulsion, avionics, RF, and power systems; leads test architecture and process improvements; oversees testbed development and support; coordinates with cross-functional teams; and assists with recruiting. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge, at least five years of test engineering or related experience, at least two years of people management experience, strong Python proficiency, hardware test experience, and HITL test framework experience. The base salary is $150,000–$230,000 USD, with equity and benefits, and U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected refugee/asylee status is required.
