Description
The Venture Science Doctorate (VSD) is a three-year, full-time, primarily remote PhD program focused on identifying high-impact science opportunities, developing and validating technologies, and co-founding a science-based venture. Candidates must have a master’s degree or higher in a natural science, engineering, or closely related technical field, relevant prior experience, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to commit five working days per week. The program covers tuition and research expenses and provides a monthly stipend of £2,800, including a health insurance subsidy, with the student and co-founders receiving majority ownership upon spin-out.
