Description
ABS is seeking a verification specialist/engineer to conduct onshore and offshore assessments of safety-critical equipment, systems, and documentation on global energy installations across oil and gas and renewable energy. The role performs Independent Verification Body examinations, prepares technical reports, maintains verification files, supports verification documentation, and liaises with clients. It requires an engineering qualification or equivalent experience, knowledge of offshore safety legislation, major hazard and process safety management, risk assessment and Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) methods, safety and environmental critical elements, plant systems and machinery, engineering plans, ABS rules, and effective technical communication.
