Description
The Versatile Milling Machine Operator produces mechanical parts to drawing and quality specifications by setting up CNC and conventional milling machines, using provided CAM programs, performing machining operations, inspecting work, conducting Level 1 preventive maintenance, and maintaining a tidy workstation. The role requires a high school vocational diploma in machining or equivalent experience, knowledge of CNC and CAM software, drawing-reading and measuring-instrument skills, and proficiency in CNC programming and milling.
