Description
The Clinical Veterinarian provides comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive veterinary care for laboratory animals used in research, teaching, and training programs. The role manages clinical cases, supports disease surveillance and prevention, ensures compliance with federal, state, and accrediting requirements, and collaborates with the Attending Veterinarian, research personnel, and animal care staff. It is primarily based at the Henry Ford Health and Michigan State University Health Science Detroit building, with additional responsibilities at other Henry Ford Health sites, and requires on-call and emergency scheduling availability.
