Festival Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in examinations, treatments, and surgeries. The role includes safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting samples, administering medications and vaccinations, maintaining medical records, caring for animals, communicating with pet owners, handling payments and appointments, and answering client calls. The position requires previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting, technical knowledge of disinfection, medication administration, and diagnostic equipment, and the physical ability to handle animals safely. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:50 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and every other Saturday morning, with pay of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.
