Broad River Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries. The role includes safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting samples, administering medications and vaccinations under supervision, feeding and exercising animals, maintaining medical records, communicating with pet owners, and keeping the clinic clean and stocked. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and employee pet discounts, with a salary of $18.00–$19.00 per hour and requires at least one year of veterinary experience.
