Skeet Club Veterinary Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries. The role includes safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting laboratory samples, administering medications and vaccinations under supervision, feeding and exercising animals, maintaining medical records, communicating with pet owners, and keeping the clinic clean and stocked. The position pays $16.00–$20.00 per hour, follows a Monday–Friday and rotating Saturday schedule, and offers medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, professional development, and employee pet discounts.
