Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care and Veterinary Center is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians in an urgent-care and hospital setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient health, assisting with tests and analyses, recording anesthesia vitals, preparing radiographs, transporting patients, preparing deceased pets, and maintaining supplies. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organization, animal-handling ability, and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds; prior veterinary experience and knowledge of practice procedures are preferred.
