Bentley Animal Hospital is hiring full-time and part-time Veterinary Assistants to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in examinations, treatments, and surgeries. Responsibilities include safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting laboratory samples, administering medications and vaccinations under supervision, feeding and exercising animals, maintaining medical records, communicating with pet owners, and keeping the clinic clean and stocked. The role requires at least one year of veterinary experience, technical knowledge of disinfection, medication administration, and diagnostic equipment, and the physical ability to handle animals safely. The hospital offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, an employee pet discount, a 401(k) match, and an employee referral bonus, with pay of $18.00–$20.00 per hour.
