Pure Paws Veterinary Care of Hudson Square is hiring a part-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries. The role includes safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting laboratory samples, administering medications and vaccinations under supervision, feeding and exercising animals, maintaining medical records, communicating with pet owners, and keeping the clinic clean and stocked. The position averages 25 hours per week, pays $21–$26 per hour, and requires at least one year of veterinary assistant experience, technical knowledge of disinfection and diagnostic equipment, and the physical ability to handle animals safely.
