Caring Hand Arlington is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in animal examinations, treatments, and surgeries. The role includes safely handling and restraining animals, preparing and sterilizing examination and surgical areas, collecting laboratory samples, administering medications and vaccinations under supervision, feeding and exercising animals, maintaining medical records, communicating with pet owners, and keeping the clinic clean and stocked. The position requires previous veterinary-animal experience, knowledge of disinfection, medication administration, and diagnostic equipment, and the physical ability to handle animals safely. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and pays $20-$24 per hour based on experience and skillset.
