Description
White Oak Veterinary Clinic is offering a veterinary externship for 3rd- and 4th-year veterinary students as part of their educational curriculum. The externship runs typically two to three weeks, can range from two to eight weeks, and includes supervised hands-on experience with small animal cases such as histories, physical exams, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, surgery assistance, medical case management, wellness care, client communication, and SOAP medical records. The program provides a stipend, requires enrollment in an accredited DVM program, authorization to work in the United States, and professional liability insurance.
