Description
Veterinary externship program for DVM students seeking off-campus practical experience in a small animal practice. Externs work under veterinary supervision for two to eight weeks, typically two to three weeks, including days, evenings, and weekends, and participate in patient care activities such as histories, physical exams, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, surgery assistance, wellness care, client communication, and medical record production.
