Description
Northwoods Animal Hospital is offering an externship program in partnership with Heartland Veterinary Partners. This program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to become 'practice ready.' Externships are typically two weeks long, with Heartland covering lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and support for preceptorship documentation is available. Eligibility requires current enrollment in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School and the ability to provide student PLIT.
