Description
Veterinary externship opportunity for DVM students to gain supervised hands-on experience in a small animal practice. The externship is flexible in length, typically two to three weeks, includes days, evenings, and weekends, and offers a $250 per week stipend. Externs will observe and participate in patient care activities such as histories, physical exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery assistance, wellness care, client communication, and medical record documentation, while meeting professional, ethical, and supervision requirements.
