Description
Murphy Animal Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Extern for an externship lasting two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. Eligible participants are third- and fourth-year veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education. The extern will work with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gather patient histories, perform physical examinations, develop treatment plans, conduct diagnostics, assist with dentistry and surgical procedures, manage patients medically, and communicate with the medical team, support staff, and clients. Veterinary students may receive a travel and living expense stipend.
