Ridgetop Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Extern in Silverdale, Washington, to work side-by-side with supervising DVMs on real cases, assist or observe advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries, and develop communication skills with the team and clients. The externship provides hands-on learning, mentorship, surgical variety, and exposure to exotic and backyard poultry patients, with no weekends, major holidays, or overnights. DVM students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel and living expense stipend of $1,500.
