Description
A veterinary externship at Lifetime Animal Care Center in San Diego, California, hosted by NVA, provides veterinary students with supervised hands-on clinical experience in patient histories, physical examinations, treatment planning, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, medical management, and communication with medical teams, support staff, and clients. The externship generally lasts two to eight weeks, accepts applications for placements beginning after March 2027, and offers eligible students a $1,500 travel/living expense stipend.
