Description
The veterinary medical assistant cares for animals, assists veterinarians during treatments, and performs administrative and organizational tasks such as scheduling appointments, welcoming animal owners, documenting treatment progress, and billing. The role also creates X-ray images, performs laboratory work, cares for animals in the hospital ward, advises owners on species-appropriate keeping and disease prevention, follows hygiene regulations, disinfects the workplace, and provides first aid in emergencies.
