Externs work alongside the veterinary team on patient care, including histories, physical exams, diagnostic and therapeutic plans, surgery assistance, wellness care, client communication, and medical records. The rotation is flexible for two to eight weeks (typically two or three weeks), includes days/evenings/weekends, and provides a $250 per week stipend.
