Description
Altasciences is hiring an entry-level Veterinary Technician to support animal health and research activities in a clinical or research facility. The role includes examining and treating animals under veterinary guidance, maintaining health records and data quality, conducting diagnostic tests and veterinary procedures, supporting surgery and anesthesia monitoring, calculating medication doses, handling and restraining animals, maintaining veterinary spaces and equipment, and assisting research and laboratory teams. The position requires an associate or bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications, basic animal-handling and veterinary experience, and applicable state veterinary technician licensing is preferred. The posted pay range is $24.00–$30.00 per hour, and the employer does not provide visa sponsorship.
