Petco is hiring a Veterinary Technician for its Vetco Total Care full-service hospital. The role focuses on providing excellent veterinary care and customer service, including assisting veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia; performing patient restraint, lab sample handling, medication administration, recordkeeping, client communication, anesthesia monitoring, inpatient treatments, and maintaining a clean hospital environment. Candidates must have completed college or equivalent education required for credentialed veterinary technician status in the state of the hospital and at least one year of prior veterinary technician or veterinary practice experience, along with strong communication, phone, and computer skills and the ability to work compassionately in stressful situations.
