Description
Animal Hospital of North Charleston is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional service to clients. The role supports veterinarians with exams, surgery, anesthesia, recovery, restraint, laboratory work, radiographs, injections, IV catheter placement, medical records, medication dispensing, and hospital maintenance. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Compensation is $17.00-$19.00 depending on skills and experience, with medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and professional development opportunities. LVT certification is preferred, along with safe animal handling, knowledge of common disease states, and familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
