Description
The Veterinary Technician or Assistant provides clinical and customer-service support to Angell veterinarians and staff, including examination-room technical support, outpatient and inpatient procedures, case management, diagnostic imaging, surgery, client communication, and referrals. The role requires at least one year of experience, CVT certification for technician hiring, knowledge of veterinary clinical procedures and terminology, animal handling, and math skills. Compensation is $22–$27 per hour for Veterinary Assistants and $25–$30 per hour for Certified Veterinary Technicians, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for CVTs and health, dental, life insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, paid leave, employee discounts, and free on-site parking.
