Description
Ford is hiring a Vehicle Hardware Engineering Systems Engineering Leader to lead Systems Engineering Team Leaders through Systems Design methodology. The role owns system-level decisions, MBSE integration, part-count and lifecycle-cost optimization, technical design reviews, trade-off decisions, feasibility assessments, and cross-functional coordination across program, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, and other vehicle engineering functions. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least five years of functional or vehicle engineering experience, CAD/CAE and Systems Engineering experience, and global travel; a master's degree or MBA is preferred. The position is a Level 4 leadership role, may require onsite work up to four days per week, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
