Description
The Vice President of Downstream leads American Petroleum Institute’s fuels and refining work, including the Downstream Committee, policy and advocacy strategy, member engagement, regulatory affairs, refinery safety programs, and coordination across policy, legal, communications, and safety functions. The role advises senior leadership on industry trends and emerging policy issues, represents API and its members before Congress, federal and state agencies, industry forums, and the media, and leads a ~10-person team. It requires 15+ years of refining, fuels, and energy experience, a bachelor’s degree, and up to 25% travel.
